Frequently Asked Hiring Questions
Q. How does Trip-Basis compensation work?
Trip-basis professionals (mountain guides, drivers, drone videographers) receive a guaranteed daily rate for every day on the field, including acclimatization days, plus all outstation food, lodging, park permits, and high-altitude gear allowances.
Q. What certifications are required for guides?
For alpine and high-altitude circuits (Everest, Annapurna, Mustang), we require an active IFMGA / UIAGM or NMA Certified Guide license and Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification. For cultural tours, a valid Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) license is required.
Q. Do drivers require their own vehicle?
We operate our own fleet of company-owned Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 4WDs and VIP HiAce vans, but we also welcome owner-operators with spotless, late-model luxury tourist vehicles (green/red plate).
Q. How fast will I hear back after applying?
Our hiring directors review incoming resumes and credentials daily. Qualified candidates will receive a WhatsApp message or email within 24–48 hours to schedule a video or in-person briefing at our Kathmandu headquarters.
